Jubilee Celebrations
Today at school, we celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a picnic and fete on the school field. The children had a wonderful time paying games and buying sweet treats as well as having their faces painted, Henna tattoos and their nails painted.
We have started to make a long red, white and blue paper chain and are eagerly waiting to see who will win the three cash prizes.
We were also very excited when our very own Jubilee Bus arrived on the playground from Stagecoach. The children enjoyed exploring the bus and taking part in an exciting colouring competition.
In the run up to the celebration, every child in school participated in painting a flag to celebrate this amazing milestone. these were all displayed around the school during the afternoon.
Thank you to everybody who came and supported the event. It truly was a wonderful afternoon with a wonderful atmosphere and a real celebration of Her majesty the Queen.
