What the Children Do
As part of our Move Up Morning we created our own Eiffel Tower artwork, using water colours. We thought about the intricate framework used to create the tower and the scenery around it. During our first week in Year 5, we wrote setting descriptions describing the views from the top of the Eiffel Tower. We considered our 5 senses and tried to include the following language features into our writing: similes, metaphors, alliteration and expanded noun phrases.
