A group of Year 5 children went to Salesian College for a stargazing evening based on their Science learning on space. They experienced a planetarium, got the chance to design their own planets and saw real planets in the night sky through telescopes.
Although the evening started cloudy, it cleared up and they were lucky enough to see Jupiter and 4 of its moons through the telescope as well as Mars, Venus and the moon!
