Welcome to Year 5, Eiffel Class.
Please find below some key information:
PE Day:
Monday and Thursday- The children will need to come to school dressed in their PE kit. There will be no opportunity to get changed at school.
Reading at Home/ Reading Books:
We will change the children's reading books as often as needed from the classroom selection. The children will also get the opportunity to visit the school library.
It is important that the children have their reading books and reading records in school every day as we aim to read with all of the children throughout the week, in school.
Homework
Handwriting homework will be sent out every Monday and will be due in on Friday.
At the beginning of each half term, a homework menu will be sent out, listing 6 possible activities your child can complete. We ask that a minimum of three activities are completed throughout the half term. We will be giving out dojos to any child who completes a piece of homework.
