What the Children Do

In Summer 1, Macau proudly took to the stage to present their class assembly based on the book “How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth” and our instruction writing from last term.

Our assembly was all about sharing the fun (and surprisingly tricky!) steps involved in giving a woolly mammoth a bath. From luring the mammoth into the bathroom with it’s favourite “Rocky Road” snack to tricking it into the tub with an onion, Macau brought their learning and ideas to life with enthusiasm, humour and teamwork! They showed confidence, spoke clearly, sang songs and performed to parents, carers and the wider school community! It was a great opportunity for us to showcase our skills and celebrate our learning!

Thank you to everyone who helped us learn our lines and came along to watch - we hope you loved it as much as we did performing for you!
